KLEEN GREEN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Effective against fungi, mold, mildew and insects
- Non-Flammable - contains no combustible materials
- Hypoallergenic - contains no known allergens to irritate the skin or respiratory system, will not impair vision or cause rashes
- Rinseable - washes off completely in water, does not leave streaks or bead stains. Once rinsed, the product leaves a non-magnetic, non-static finish inhibiting accumulation of dust or grime.
Kleen Green™ is a non-bacterial, extremely concentrated, readily biodegradable product deriving its efficacy through three primary sources:
- A readily biodegradable blend of select surfactants chosen for their emulsification attributes and relatively low order of aquatic toxicity.
- A concentrated, supplemented, mineral and nutrient-rich extract derived from a carefully controlled fermentation.
- The incorporation of a broad-spectrum enzyme package from a proprietary fermentation of innocuous yeast strains.
Ingredients: A specially formulated broad spectrum of NATURAL enzymes (protease, amylase, cellulose, and lipase) derived from innocuous yeast strains. FDA food grade ingredients. GRAS (FDA Generally Regarded As Safe) List Parts 184 and 186. This product is a bio-pesticide.
Directions: Simply spray the mixture on and wipe off. In some instances, waiting 1-2 minutes before wiping off is more effective.
The following table and directions are intended only as a general guide
for the many uses of
Kleen Green™. Individual needs may differ. Start
with the suggested mix strength, and adjust to your needs.
Glass: Spray on and wipe off. If glass or mirror streak or smear, dilute mix with additional water.
Washing Machine: Add 1-2 oz to your wash cycle. Use in place of bleach to brighten and freshen.
Fabric and Upholstery: Spray and allow time for enzymes to work. Blot with a rough towel or rinse with water. For stubborn stains, use a stronger mixture and soak overnight.
Carpet Cleaning: For stains and odors, chewing gum, grease, tar, etc.: Spray, allow time to work, then blot clean with a rough towel. Stubborn stains and odors may need more than 1 treatment, or a slightly stronger mix. Adding 1/2 to 1 cup of borax to the gallon produces an even better result. When using a carpet cleaning machine, use warm or hot water with
KLEEN GREEN™.
Drains/Grease Traps: 1-2 oz. allow to sit, then pour in hot water.
Toilet Bowl: Add 1 oz. to bowl and wait 30 minutes, brush and flush.
Pet Stains and Odors: Either spot clean by spraying with KLEEN GREEN™ and blotting dry with a towel or clean carpets as above.
Pet Odor/Dander: 2 oz. per 1 gallon. Spray coat or fur of pet (avoid eyes).
Kennels/Stables: 1 oz. per gallon. To deodorize kennel runs, patios, stables, trailers, remove animals and spray with a garden hose sprayer.
Why should you use enzymes instead of chemicals? Enzymes can be used to replace harsh conditions and harsh chemicals, thus saving energy and preventing pollution. They are also highly specific, which means fewer unwanted side-effects and by-products in the production process. Enzymes themselves are biodegradable, so they are readily absorbed back into nature.
Multi-Purpose CleaningThis all-organic biodegradable cleaner penetrates and emulsifies all types of organic matter on all surfaces. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to harsh cleaning chemicals and is highly effective for cleaning all surfaces including tile, walls, floors, carpets, rugs and upholstery. This unique and highly effective product is specifically designed to clean and biodegrade organic stains such as blood, vomit, urine, waste, food and other such difficult stains.
Kleen Green™ attacks stains at first application then continues working to safely biodegrade the residual traces of these organic stains. Especially effective on hard-to-clean surfaces such as tile grouting, corners, cracks and crevices where germs colonize, plus carpets and furniture where removal of organic stains is difficult.
Odor-EliminationThe unique odor control action includes the absorption of odor molecules on contact, and replacement of offensive odors with a pleasant, refreshing fragrance. Use diluted as a spray air freshener, or cleaning solution. Effective on smoke, cooking, waste and other undesirable odors.
Insects and Other Pests Insects are made up of a high concentration of protein. When
Kleen Green™ is introduced to an insect, the enzymes act and cause the insect to molt (shed its outer coating) prematurely. These enzymes are becoming widely accepted in the pest removal industry, because they leave no toxic residues and the effect on the insect exoskeleton is quick and safe.
Poison pesticides attack the nervous system of the insect, which is not always effective. University research has noted that some insects have developed a resistance to poison-based products!

FDA and GRAS Certification InformationAs
Kleen Green™ is designed to be incorporated into water at very low levels; its introduction into the environment will not create an unsafe situation. All regulated components of our enzyme product have been rigorously tested for human and animal safety and biodegradability using the guidelines listed below: (All ingredients meet the standards set by the FDA; Food and Drug Administration)
FDA: GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) list, parts 184 and 186. USDA: FSIS (Food Safety and Inspection Service) Regulated components can be used as ingredients in general purpose cleaners in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.
EPA: Biodegradability test 40 CR, Parts 796-3100 to 796-3360 confirms all regulated components re: "Readily Biodegradable". Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater demonstrates a Low Level Of Aquatic Toxicity due to the regulated components classification for biodegradability. Acute Mammalian Toxicity Studies on regulated components shows Low To No Toxicity levels. Please refer to MSDS Sheet
OSHA: Hazard Communications Standard CFR Title 29 1910.1200 "Non Hazardous".
FDA: 21 CFR (176.170 & .180) (178.340 & .3910) (180.1001 c & e) (181.30) (9182.99) (582.99) Regulated components may be used in the manufacturing of article or components of articles intended for use in producing, manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, or holding food.
CWA (Clean Water Act) regulations define the regulated components as Non Hazardous. SARA (Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 Title III) Regulated components are under levels that require reporting or do not contain toxic chemicals.
CAAA (Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990) Pursuant to Section 611 per 40 CFR Part 82, These regulated components do not contain or were not directly manufactured with any Class I or Class II ozone depleting substances.
RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) per 40CFR 261, should a regulated component become waste, it would be Non Hazardous.
According to qualified experts these components fall under six or more of these guidelines and therefore are generally regarded as safe. Even so, in its neat form, products can possibly cause irritation to the skin and eyes and should be handled with care. Never taste or swallow products.
